La Promenade Renovation, Parlimentary Precinct

La Promenade building has been refitted to accommodate 3 committee room suites and 62 Member of Parliament offices and other associated support spaces. The committee rooms and MP suites meet a high level of speech security and include extensive IT, multimedia and security provisions. The renovation also included a complete mid-life replacement of mechanical and electrical systems to current more efficient standards.

This was the pilot project for the House of Commons as it launched into the complete renovation of Parliament Hill accommodations. Their requirements for very high levels of speech privacy for every space meant that all design team members and construction crews collaborated to make sound isolation a primary goal. The building was entirely tested during and after construction and ser4ves as a model for the future refit of the Parliamentary Precinct.

Project Value: $30 million
